Milk Thistle (80% Silymarin) — the Core of the Formula
This is the most recognizable "liver" botanical and the heart of this formula. Milk thistle (Silybum marianum) has been used in European medicine since Greco-Roman times, and its tradition runs more than two thousand years. Its properties come down to silymarin — a complex of flavonolignans, to which this extract is standardized at a high 80%. The traditional use of milk thistle has been systematized by the European Medicines Agency (EMA/HMPC), which recognizes preparations from milk thistle fruit in the context of relieving digestive complaints and supporting liver function.

NAC and Glutathione
N-acetyl-L-cysteine (NAC) is an acetylated derivative of the amino acid cysteine and a precursor to glutathione — one of the body's most important intracellular antioxidants. The formula also delivers glutathione in its reduced form directly. TUDCA
TUDCA (tauroursodeoxycholic acid) is a bile acid that occurs naturally in the body, conjugated with taurine. In the literature it is linked to bile acid metabolism and to cell function. Antioxidants: Turmeric, Alpha-Lipoic Acid, Coenzyme Q10
Turmeric extract (95% curcuminoids) delivers curcumin — a polyphenol with antioxidant properties. Alpha-lipoic acid (ALA) is a compound involved in energy metabolism and in the regeneration of other antioxidants. Coenzyme Q10 takes part in energy production in the mitochondria and likewise shows antioxidant activity. These three form the antioxidant backbone of the formula.

Hawthorn and B Vitamins
Hawthorn (standardized to 2% vitexin) is a classic herbal botanical, here in a small, complementary dose. The formula is rounded out by three B vitamins — B1, B6 (in the active pyridoxal phosphate form), and B12 — at doses covering a significant part of the nutrient reference value.

NAC has an inconsistent status across the European Union — in some countries it is an ingredient of medicinal products (in Germany, among others, it is available by prescription), and in some it is not permitted in supplements. The 700 mg dose is high. It is worth checking local regulations before buying.
Turmeric at high doses has been linked to individual cases of effects on the liver (described especially when taken together with black pepper — which this formula does not contain). EFSA set the acceptable daily intake for curcumin at 3 mg/kg body weight.
TUDCA is a bile acid close in character to substances used in the context of the biliary tract — its status as a supplement ingredient varies.
The formula also contains hawthorn, which acts on the cardiovascular system (here in a small dose).
